GLADICE Impact
Why GLADICE?
GLADICE uses humor, curiosity, and breathtaking Arctic imagery to create a fresh entry point into climate engagement. Where much climate media relies on fear, guilt, or polarization, we favor levity, wonder, and extraordinary visuals to create a viewing experience that audiences carry with them long after the film ends.
The film has already demonstrated strong audience resonance through awards recognition, festival response, and growing institutional interest. We are now seeking support to build a long-tail engagement campaign across educational, cultural, organizational, and public-facing spaces.
The central idea guiding this work is simple: Keep GLADICE alive. Not only as a film, but as an ongoing connection that keeps audiences and institutions engaged with climate conversations over time.
Education & Climate Literacy
GLADICE creates emotional connection before introducing climate complexity, making it especially effective for younger audiences, universities, museums, and community learning environments.
We’re developing pathways for educational distribution, classroom screenings, discussion guides, and climate literacy programming that allow the film to effectively continue living in schools and learning spaces long after watching.
Cultural & Public Engagement
GLADICE is already reaching audiences beyond traditional environmental spaces. Its humor, visual storytelling, and accessibility create natural pathways into film festivals, cultural institutions, climate storytelling initiatives, and public engagement events.
We see strong potential for the film to contribute to a broader cultural conversation around how audiences engage with a well-worn subject.
Organizational & Corporate Engagement
Organizations are increasingly searching for ways to engage employees and leadership teams around sustainability in ways that feel constructive, human, and actionable.
GLADICE creates opportunities for screenings, facilitated discussions, and internal activations that help sustainability conversations feel personal rather than abstract.
Funding Opportunity
We’re currently seeking support to expand the impact campaign and long-term engagement infrastructure for GLADICE. In addition to contributing to the broader campaign, supporters may also choose to underwrite specific initiatives and activations, including:
Educational Distribution & Curriculum Development | $35K
Development and rollout of classroom discussion guides, facilitator materials, and educational outreach infrastructure to support university, museum, and community learning environments.
Community Screening Events | $10K per screening
Public screenings and facilitated conversations that bring GLADICE directly into communities through local partnerships, speakers, audience engagement materials, and event coordination.
Regional Screening Tour | $50K
Support for a multi-city screening series designed to activate regional audiences through public events, community partnerships, and local engagement efforts.
Corporate Screening Event | $15K
A custom screening experience designed for organizations exploring sustainability, culture, and employee engagement through storytelling. Includes screening coordination, moderated conversation, and tailored discussion framing for employees and leadership teams.
Corporate Engagement Partnership | $50K
A deeper organizational engagement package modeled on Arctic Arts’ work with Colt Technology Services, combining screenings, leadership conversations, employee engagement initiatives, sustainability programming, strategic coordination, and collaborative public-facing activities.
PR, Audience Growth & Campaign Communications | $40K
Strategic communications, press outreach, social storytelling, partnership toolkits, and campaign materials designed to expand the visibility and long-term reach of GLADICE.
Collectively, these initiatives represent the foundation of a broader long-term engagement campaign designed to expand the reach of GLADICE over time. Depending on scale and scope, a fully realized campaign is anticipated to range from approximately $75,000–$250,000+.
